Biography​​​​

Ngun Nawl, whose Burmese name is Thein Tun Aung, was born in 1989. He came to believe and accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in May 2008. He completed his matriculation examination in 2006 and continued his studies at University of Computer Studeis (Kalay), previously known as Government Computer College (GCC) from 2006 to 2008.

He pursued theological education and received several academic degrees. He earned a Bachelor of Theology (BTh) from Gospel Baptist Bible Seminary (GBBS) in 2014 and a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Berean Baptist Bible College and Seminary (BBBC&S) in 2016. He later obtained a Master of Theology (MTh) in 2019 and recently earned a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) in February 14, 2026 from Myanmar Evangelical Graduate School of Theology (MEGST).

In ministry, he served as a lecturer at Gospel Baptist Bible College and Seminary (GBBC&S) in Hakha, Chin State, in 2016 for one year. Since 2018, he has been serving as an Assistant Pastor at Yangon Gospel Baptist Church (YGBC) in Hlaing Township, Yangon. In addition, he has been serving as a lecturer at Gospel Baptist Bible Seminary (GBBS) since 2022.

His teaching responsibilities include a wide range of biblical and practical ministry subjects. These courses include Bible Times, Customs and Manners; Bible Geography; New Testament Survey; Evangelism and Missions; Comprehensive English; Leadership and Church Administration; Church Growth and Leadership; and New Testament Exposition courses covering Matthew through Revelation.
